Jane Ruseski is a Professor of Economics in the John Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University. She received her PhD in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University in 1998. Previous appointments include faculty positions at the University of Alberta and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and non-academic appointments at the Federal Trade Commission and Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission. She has had visiting appointments at University of Paderborn, University of Zurich, and the German Sport University Cologne. Her research interests are in health economics, sports economics, and industrial organization. Much of her published work and ongoing research lie at the intersection of these fields. She has published in several peer reviewed journals including Contemporary Economic Policy, Health Economics, Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics, International Journal of Sport Finance, B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis and Policy, Journal of Regional Science, and Journal of Sports Economics. She is a co-editor of Contemporary Economic Policy and serves as the secretary for the North American Association of Sports Economists.

Brian Soebbing is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at the University of Alberta. He received his PhD in Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation from the University of Alberta in 2011. Previous appointments include faculty positions at Louisiana State University and Temple University. He has had visiting appointments at the German Sport University Cologne and the University of Southern Denmark. His primary research interest focuses on the strategic behavior of sport and recreation organizations and their constituents. He has published in several peer reviewed journals including Journal of Sport Management, Urban Studies, Growth and Change, Sport Management Review, International Journal of Sport Finance, Contemporary Economic Policy, Journal of Sports Economics, and Economic Letters. He is an associate editor for Sport and Entertainment Review and European Sport Management Quarterly.

Mario Lackner is a senior researcher in the Department of Economics at Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz. He received his PhD from JKU in 2014. His research interests are in behavioral economics, personnel economics, applied microeconometrics, and sports economics. He has published in several peer reviewed journals including Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society (Series A), Scandinavian Journal of Economics, and Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics.

Qi Ge is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Vassar College. He received his PhD from Princeton University in 2016. Previous appointments include a visiting instructor position at Vassar College and a faculty appointment at Skidmore College. His research interests are in behavioral economics, industrial organization, and sports economics. Much of his published work and ongoing research lie at the intersection of these fields. He has published in several peer reviewed journals including Economic Inquiry, Journal of Sports Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, B.E.
